ACME Bar Group's New Projects, But First a Pop-Up

ACME Bar Group lost chef Bruce Kalman to The Churchill last fall, and to fill his shoes they've hired Greg Bernhardt (LudoBites sous chef) as executive chef of several new projects. There's the switcheroo from Urbano to 6th Street Tavern, the reboot of King Eddy Saloon, and also an overhaul of the CoffeeBar space into a new concept. But, before that happens, Bernhardt is holding a series of pop-up dinners in conjunction with Spanish chef Sergio Perera (he cooked a while back at Marcona) who is looking to open his own place in LA. WineBar at CoffeeBar takes place Wednesday to Saturday, from 7 p.m. to midnight, with a 12-item a la carte menu that looks like this. Pretty, pretty plates. They're planning to keep this going for the next six weeks or so until 6th Street Tavern launches. [EaterWire]
