New, 3 comments

BEVERLY HILLS—The second Los Angeles' outpost of P.F. Chang's fast-casual concept, Pei Wei Asian Market, opens on Monday, reports Toddrickallen. The first location sprang up in West Hollywood, at 8000 Sunset, not long ago. This location takes over the corner space on Dayton and Beverly Drive in downtown Beverly Hills. Expect further expansion from this chain. [Toddrickallen]

WEST LA—A second location of Torrance's Ramen Hayatemaru, the Japanese-based chain, will soon open on Olympic Boulveard and Barrington, notes Grub Street. The six item menu will include tonkotsu ramen, soy-based shoyu, and new to both locations, LA's current obsession: tsukemen. [GS]
