Connie & Ted's Looks Like a Seafood Shack of the Future

Oh wow. Check this out. The Connie & Ted's saga continues almost a year later. Early framework for Providence chef Michael Cimarusti's New England seafood joint is up in place of the mostly leveled Silver Spoon Diner on Santa Monica Boulevard in West Hollywood (the diner's original sign still remains).

Throw any notion of a traditional seafood shack out the window because this one is hyper modern with a waved roof that will be suspended over an outdoor dining deck, says WEHOville. There's no way that this project will wrap by its March 6 estimated completion, but at least construction is moving forward. Someone's gunning for a design award.
