Status: Opens tonight
New York piano bar and restaurant Don't Tell Mama, famous for hiring actual Broadway performers to serve as staff, opens a location tonight in Los Angeles. Both the cabaret space and dining room will be staffed by local talent from the small screen and stage. While Musical Director Ryan O'Connor continues to train new hires, Don't Tell Mama New York is sending over some of their best supporting staff to help open the venue's first West Coast location.

The restaurant and bar area, which seats about 50, will serve a menu of American-style dishes like lamb chops with ratatouille and Mexican shrimp cocktail. A full bar is available. Open tonight for dinner and entertainment, Don't Tell Mama will serve Monday through Thursday from 4 p.m. until 11 p.m. and Friday, Saturday and Sunday until 12 midnight. Weekend brunch starts on March 2. The piano bar remains open until 2 a.m. nightly.
