Los Angeles is home to a lot of restaurants, and among them are hidden gems some Angelenos just aren't unearthing. To help guide us to these potential discoveries, we've enlisted some of our city's many food luminaries to share with us their under the radar recommendations for Dining Confidential.
In light of AOC's imminent relaunch in the defunct Il Covo space, Eater asked chef and owner Suzanne Goin to share one of her most trusted off-the-radar places to dine. But, while we're on the topic of AOC, just FYI, the restaurant held friends and family over the weekend and will open to the public on February 6. Anyway, here now Goin on when to go and what to order at Tacos Delta:
I have been a Tacos Delta fan on Sunset in Silverlake since my teens. Sitting out on that makeshift patio with the eclectic mix of fellow Delta fans is simply the best. Although everyone comes here for the delicious tacos, especially the charred carne asada or al pastor, my all time fave from this genuine Mexican family owned place is the menudo they make on Sundays. It's the best. And such a great crowd at the community tables.·All Dining Confidential Coverage [~ELA~]
