Inside The Craftsman, Connie & Ted's Updates, More!

New, 2 comments

SANTA MONICA— The Craftsman, formerly The Yard, opened this week on Broadway near Ocean and Grub Street takes a look inside. As compared to The Yard's aesthetic, now in place is a lighter color palette with more of a beachy feel and plenty of comfy seating. Chef Alex Caves, who replaced CJ Jacobsen at The Yard, is still finalizing his American menu. [Grub Street]

WEST HOLLYWOOD— Just a little tidbit on chef Michael Cimarusti's Connie & Ted's. In addition to his seafood focused menu, the bar will distribute classic cocktails and 28 beers on tap. [EaterWire]

MID-CITY—Chefs Jon Shook and Vinny Dotolo have one more guest chef up their sleeves. Erik Anderson and Josh Habiger of Catbird Seat in Nashville will cook at Animal on March 25. Their eight course dinner costs $135 per person to benefit The Pablov Foundation. [Zagat]
