Ragin Cajun Back to Hermosa, Alice Waters in LA, More!

HERMOSA BEACH— Stephen Domingue, proprietor of Ragin Cajun, is bring back his popular Southern restaurant, which shuttered in 2011 after nearly 20 years. The new location, which takes over Buona Vita Pizzeria, will be slightly smaller than the original with a more concise menu. Look for a debut in May. [Daily Breeze via Grub Street]

WEST HOLLYWOOD— Alice Waters (Chez Panisse) is coming to town. She plus chef Suzanne Goin are raising funds via a lunch at The Carondelet House to help build a kitchen for the Larchmont Charter School in West Hollywood. The meal takes place on April 21 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and seats cost between $150 to $1000. [EaterWire]

HOLLYWOOD— On April 7 the Hollywood Farmer's Market will add a new area called "Spice Alley" situated in the EaCa Alley (the alley on the east side of Cahuenga and the west side of Cosmo between Hollywood Boulevard and Selma Avenue).
