Shojin, the Downtown Japanese restaurant known for its clean cuisine made with organic ingredients, soft opened a second branch in Culver City earlier this month, and now management is looking at an April 2 official debut. The former Sazon Latin Fusion space has been spruced up with flowery artwork, fresh paint and new light fixtures. Serving a similar such menu Japanese vegan and macrobiotic menu to its mother hub on S. Alameda Street, here in Culver City Shojin has added a bunch of new sushi rolls and apps as seen here. For the last month the eatery has been serving Tuesday to Sunday from 5 to 10 p.m., but beginning March 30 Shojin adds weekend service from noon to 10 p.m.
