Greenspan's Grilled Cheese, Connie & Ted's, More!

New, 2 comments

Here we are once again with a delightful Plywood Report. See something under construction in your neighborhood? Please send tips and photos to the tip line.

1) Mid-City: Though Greenspan's Grilled Cheese was supposed to open last month, it appears as though the anticipated new grilled cheese spot from chef Eric Greenspan (The Foundry) is not launching anytime soon. While a new facade seems to have appeared in the last month, the interior is still entirely rubble. [EaterWire]

2) North Hollywood: Cafe NoHo on Magnolia is applying for a beer and wine license. To accommodate the new bottles, ownership is sprucing up the interior. [EaterWire]

3) West Hollywood: Providence fans are dying to taste starred chef Michael Cimarusti's menu at his new casual seafood joint, Connie & Ted's. Unfortunately, they still have months to wait as contractors put together the building's interior. [EaterWire]

4) West LA: Sawtelle is still promising Little Osaka fans and residents a Bachi Burger (which has Vegas residents abuzz) but the interior of the space has been collecting dust for a solid four months. Calls to the contractor were not returned. Is this project on hold? Additional intel is welcome. [EaterWire]
