Perhaps the most charming restaurant venue on the entire Eastside, the bungalow that was formerly Larkin's, is turning into a permanent space for Little Beast, the pop-up that once resided at Le Petit Beaujolais just down the block. Chef Sean Lowenthal (Chateau Marmont) and wife Deborah Schwartz are tidying up the interior as well as upgrading the kitchen with new tiling and fresh equipment, all the more to prepare Lowenthal's rustic American cuisine. According to the restaurant's website, they're looking to open by May 1. [Eaterwire]
