PASADENA—Shaab, between Slater's 50/50 and the Chado Tea Room on Raymond Ave. closed as of April 1, reports Grub Street. In its place comes a new concept from Sayuri Tachibe, the wife of Chaya and M Cafe executive chef Shigeumi Tachibe. Osawa is the name of the new shabu shabu spot, looking to open as soon as next week. [GS]

WEST HOLLYWOOD—The Ceviche Project, that somewhat underground pop-up seafood concept, is, well, popping up again this Sunday. This time, Octavio Olivas brings his troop to Dominick's on Beverly Boulevard in West Hollywood. Five courses go for $80 a person. Reservations required. [EaterWire]

BURBANK—It's hard to believe it's already been three years, but Tony's Darts Away celebrates its third anniversary this weekend with special bar bites, access to specialty beers and samples of the not-yet-released Darts Away IPA. [EaterWire]
