And now it's time to take a close look at one of the five Eater Burger week specials:
The Barnyard Hamburger, inspired by the farmers market, is a simple one. Chef Jesse Barber seasons his beef patty with salt and pepper, then it hits the grill. He also grills up slices of red onion and vine tomatoes. He coats one side of his toasted burger bun with whole grain mustard, and the other with harissa. The burger is assembled with lettuce, red onion, and avocado. On the side Barber adds those charred vine tomatoes, fries, plus a harissa and crème fraîche dipping sauce. Barnyard serves its Hamburger for dinner, now through April 29, for $15.
