New Face and Food for The Belmont; Freebies at Bouchon

New, 3 comments

WEST HOLLYWOOD—Staple La Cienega restaurant and bar The Belmont is under new ownership, which means the eatery is going under the knife. Co-owner and GM Ray Garcia (The Little Bear, Blue Dog Tavern) is now running the show along with Dylan Leong (Sunset Trocadero), and the team is currently in the midst of redressing the venue. Expect changes to the patio, bar and booths inside. As for food, original Belmont chef Shad Davis (The Counter, The Federal Bar) is consulting on a new small plate menu that will be executed by chef de cuisine Shanna Milazzo (The Federal Bar). All improvements, aesthetic and otherwise, should be completed by May 1. [EaterWire]

HIGHLAND PARK— April 22 to 28, one-year-old Ba restaurant on York Boulevard is celebrating its first anniversary with a "Best of Ba" menu and gratis birthday cake. [EaterWire]

BEVERLY HILLS— This is a little bit early, but note that all mothers who dine at Bouchon on Mother's Day will be treated to a complimentary glass of Moët & Chandon Imperial Champagne as well as a Moët Macaron. [EaterWire]
