Cucumbers imported from Mexico have tested positive for Salmonella Saintpaul and thus far have sickened 73 people in 18 states, 28 of which are in California. The tainted cucumbers hail from Daniel Cardenas Izabal and Miracle Greenhouse of Culiacán, Mexico. The US has stopped importing the cucumbers until they test salmonella-free. [LAist]
