Remember that new bill that would potentially enable California bars and clubs to serve alcohol until 4 a.m.? Well, it's a no-go. Earlier this week SB635 was rejected by the Senate Governmental Organization Committee. Lawmakers argued that the bill would promote public drunkenness, violence and drunken driving.
