On May 17, David Fris, proprietor of West Hollywood's Blu Jam Cafe — serving Eggwiches, Spicy Tex Mex Tofu Hash and Crunchy French Toast since 2006 — will debut his second location in the former Cafe 50's abode on Ventura Boulevard. Though still a casual neighborhood place, here in The Valley Blu Jam is sporting a slightly more upscale look, but offering this same such menu for breakfast and lunch. A red carpet reveal is planned for May 18, 8 to 10 p.m., and actor Jeff Goldblum shall be in attendance. [EaterWire]
