Jerry's Famous Deli, established on Beverly Boulevard for nearly two decades, shuttered on Sunday, reports WEHOville. Known for its vast deli menu that catered to the club kids post 2 a.m., reps for the restaurant say they plan to look for a new space next year in West Hollywood, with the intent of reopening as a hybrid restaurant/market. Those behind Jerry's operate a string of Los Angeles delis and one in Miami, but also own two Epicure Markets (which appear to be a Whole Foods meets Trader Joe's type deal) in Florida. It's unclear whether an Epicure-brand market would come to Los Angeles or a new market concept altogether.
Jerry's Deli locations remain in Studio City, MdR, Woodland Hills, Encino, Westwood and Miami.
