On May 23, The Los Angeles Times published its first annual 101 Best Restaurants, selected by the Pulitzer Prize-winning critic and self-proclaimed "belly of Los Angeles," Jonathan Gold.

The digital edition lets readers chart their courses with an interactive map and multiple ways to sort the list. Competitive food-lovers can use Facebook to create brag lists highlighting the places they've visited and wish lists indicating which of the 101 are in their sights.

Los Angeles Times members with Thursday delivery will find Jonathan Gold's 101 Best Restaurants in their print edition on May 23, and starting May 24, as a back issue via latimes.com/store. Currently, the guide is available exclusively for members.

For more information about how to activate or initiate a membership, go to latimes.com/getgold.
