CHINATOWN— Roy Choi's relocated Chego! opened this weekend in a spacious Chinatown Far East Plaza, with a lovely courtyard, bench seating, and essentially the same menu as the Westside original. Hours run 11 a.m to 11 p.m., a departure from the original staggered hours. [Grub Street]

SOUTH PARK—Looks like Downtown's South Park's neighborhood wine spot Corkbar is getting a menu revamp after new chef Fernando Darin moved in a few weeks ago. The chef is changing up the vegetarian-friendly menu and completely re-concepting the dishes, with offerings like a kushi oyster topped with a strawberry gazpacho foam and pork cheeks with white beans and quinoa. There are more changes coming with an official menu due out next week. [Eaterwire]

ORANGE COUNTY— Coffee Bean is opening its first drive-through location in the city of Brea. They celebrated by offering $1 drinks from 2-6 p.m., with proceeds benefiting the CCC Foundation in Sri Lanka. [Eaterwire]

CULVER CITY— Bigfoot West is celebrating the 80's on May 9 starting at 9 p.m., which means full 80's costumes will be in order. There's $100 credits to the bar for winners in categories like "Best 80's Rock Star" or "Best Overall 80's Look." [Eaterwire]
