Los Angeles is home to a lot of restaurants, and among them are hidden gems some Angelenos just aren't unearthing. To help guide us to these potential discoveries, we've enlisted some of our city's many food luminaries to share with us their under the radar recommendations for Dining Confidential.
Chef Ricardo Zarate has a full plate, overseeing the menus at Mo-Chica, Picca, and his newest child, Paich?. Lately, on nights off, Zarate says that he has been enjoying meals from chef Max Shapiro at private dining club B.R.K. Dining aka Broke Rich Kids Dining:
"I've recently become a huge fan of Broke Rich Kids — they serve these multi-course dinners a few times a month that are incredible. The guy that runs it, Max, is so humble and has this huge passion for food. It's not about making money, it's about making great dishes that make people happy. All of the food is very inspired — some of it a little crazy — but it's all delicious. It's a really unique dining experience, and for me, it's what cooking is all about."·All Dining Confidential Coverage [~ELA~]
