Badmaash Indian Gastropub Soft Opens Today Downtown

Have a look inside Badmaash, the new mashup of an Indian gastropub from father and son team Pawan and Nakul Mahendro. With a background in classic French and Italian cuisine, chef Pawan opened Jaipur Grill in Toronto, and now here in Los Angeles he's serving a mixed menu of Mumbai street fare and bar food for a fun take on classic meets mod. Do note that this week only a limited dinner menu is on offer during the restaurant's soft launch, but eventually the lunch to dinner bill of fare will involve plates like Chicken Tikka Masala Poutine, Tandoori Spiced Chicken Wings, and a Spicy Lamb Burger. That plus 14 craft beers and Indian sodas. Hours of operation to run Monday to Thursday 11 a.m. to 11 p.m., Friday 11 a.m. to 1 a.m., and Saturday/Sunday from 10 a.m. to 1 a.m.
