After breaking into the Los Angeles dining scene by way of NorCal in 2011 with its first organic raw vegan eatery, Cafe Gratitude has won over the health conscious hearts of Angelenos with its green drinks, veggie burger, and kelp noodles. Owners Matthew and Terces Engelhart expanded from Larchmont to Venice last summer, and they're also planning a branch of their Cafe Gratitude-esque vegan Mexican concept, Gracias Madre, in West Hollywood. And that's not all. Reps confirm that a Cafe Gratitude in Downtown Los Angeles is also in the works. Although a space has yet to be found, management is presently scouting. [EaterWire]
