WEST HOLLYWOOD— Plywood signage is now up for Cooley's, the 10,000 square foot bar from The Abbey owner David Cooley. Depicted over right, Cooley's stands in for Raffi's Jewelry, Bailamos Dance Studio and Unicorn Alley on Santa Monica Boulevard adjacent to The Abbey and will open mid to late 2014. [EaterWire]
DOWNTOWN— Another new bar menu created by Proprietors LLC hits The Parish tonight. Also, that new wine bar, which replaces the restaurant's downstairs cafe, should be ready to pour over the summer. [EaterWire]
BEVERLY HILLS— On Father's Day, June 16, Bouchon Bistro will treat dads to a comp glass of Thomas Keller's White Apron pilsner and a jelly doughnut. [EaterWire]
AROUND TOWN— The Mimi's Cafe chain celebrates its 35th birthday in June and July with a bunch of price cuts. Right now there's French onion soup for $2.25 but see all here. [EaterWire]
WEST LA— One more Father's Day freebie. Purchase one of Plan Check's signature burger (PCB, Blueprint Burger, Chef's Favorite) and dad lands a Summer Shandy on the house. [EaterWire]
