From some of the folks behind La Cita, Short Stop, and Monty comes the retooled Melody Lounge on Hill Street in Chinatown, a craft beer-focused bar that premiered about a month ago. There's 24 taps and more beer by bottle from nearby breweries like Eagle Rock, Angel City, and Noble Ale Works. No food right now but snacks to come. As described by Jonathan T. over on The Yelp, "The beer is cheap, the soda is expensive, the songs are a dollar, and the ambiance is killer." [EaterWire]
