Three New Eating/Drinking Places For The Malibu Pier

The Malibu Pier has been devoid of dining options since prior tenants Beachcomber Cafe and Ruby's Shake Shack both called its quits some time ago. Malibu Times brings word that three new eating and drinking establishments are filling the void, slated to serve at some point this summer: The Restaurant at the Malibu Pier, The Bar at the Malibu Pier, and The Cafe at the Malibu Pier. The Cafe will replace Ruby's and function as a low key place serving fish tacos "and food from winners of Malibu's Annual Chili Cook-off." Meanwhile, the area under construction by Surfrider Beach will become a seafood-serving sit-down restaurant, with an indoor/outdoor bar going into the building near the parking lot.
