Brooke Williamson, Nick Roberts Take Tower 42 in PdR

Social lubrication plus fine food and drink are continuing down the block from couple Brooke Williamson (Top Chef) and Nick Roberts' popular and cramped The Tripel in Playa del Rey to the now shuttered Tower 42 just a stone's throw away. So far though that space has proved unlucky, with a quick turnaround from Playa Cantina to Tower 42, and now, less than a year later, on to a new incarnation. No word on the forthcoming concept, but maybe another branch of their Redondo Beach gastropub Hudson House? [EaterWire]
