The Carving Board, a year-old sandwich spot in Tarzana, rolled out a spinoff food truck within the last month, selling some of the casual restaurant's most popular sandwiches and sides. Since its May launch, co-owner David Adir has only driven the vehicle sporadically, trying to figure out his best route. But, as of a week and a half ago, the truck is on the prowl daily.
