Night + Market chef and owner Kris Yenbamroong tells Daily Dish that he has decided to grow his minimalist Thai street food restaurant from West Hollywood to a second space in Silver Lake by summer's end, likely late August. And while he's not disclosing the exact location of Night + Market Song (song translates to "two" in Thai), he does reveal that it's about 1,400 square feet, near Sunset Junction, with construction set to begin in July. Yenbamroong posted early design plans to Instagram last month after polling customers where he should open a second outpost.
Night + Market east will follow the menu in West Hollywood, with perhaps a few more ambitious and adventurous Thai dishes. Yenbamroong wants to offer wine and just a few beers, two Thai and one American. Think you know Night + Market Song's Silver Lake venue? Hit the comments.
