As expected, it's now official. The beleaguered Mirabelle on Sunset is done after 43 years and the Rock & Reilly's crew is moving in. Owner George Germanides admits that his contemporary makeover of the stalwart Sunset Boulevard eatery didn't work out as hoped. He tells WEHOville, "People liked it before the remodel ... Everyone came. Then we tried to relate to young people and did it like a club and it didn't work out. All my customers never came back. They got mad at me because I changed their home." As for the building's next life, The L.O.R.E. Group should have their concept locked down in the coming weeks.
