Little Sister (which is no longer a working title) is the new 52-seat Manhattan Beach restaurant from Jed Sanford and chef Tin Vuong of Abigaile in Hermosa and WildCraft Sourdough Pizza in Culver. A redo of the previous Hamptons space, that bright beachy aesthetic is kaput and in place comes a darker, more gritty dressing with just enough polish. Fashioned by Anthony Agriam of BISHOP PASS (Abigaile), Little Sister is meant to embody a hybrid Singaporean shophouse and one-room schoolhouse.
Yes of course there will be craft beer here. Expect the brewery at Abigaile to produce a few special brews to complement chef Vuong's seasonal Southeast Asian menu executed with European technique. Little Sister is set to soft launch on July 9, with a full debut planned for July 11 at 5 p.m.
