The LA seafood influx is anything but slowing down. Giving Son of a Gun a run for its lobster roll comes a second outpost of Blue Plate Restaurant Group's Blue Plate Oysterette, a fixture on Ocean Avenue in Santa Monica for about the last four years. Shacking up in the previous home to Luigi Osteria, chef Jason Niederkorn will oversee foodstuffs, with an opening set for early 2014.
