Vic's on Seventh to Downtown, Lemonade in OC, More!

DOWNTOWN— Actor Vic Stagliano is opening a new Italian fusion restaurant near Bottega Louie titled Vic's on Seventh, which replaces Camille's Sidewalk Cafe on S. Hope Street. He courted chef Delahna Flagg to spearhead a bill of fare with NY-style pizza and house-made breads, but also brown rice pasta dishes and something called "Mantastic Frites," which involves potatoes and shredded beef. DOWNTOWN— Valerie Gordon's new lunch counter, Valerie at Grand Central Market, rolled out Saturday brunch last weekend. On the menu are old school classics like Cinnamon Toast, Silver Dollar Pancakes, Cold Fried Chicken and a Monte Christo sandwich. [EaterWire]

OC— Alan Jackson's Lemonade chainlet will begin to serve its medley of seasonal salads and protein preps in mid-August within Newport Beach's Fashion Island Shopping Center.
