The Beverly Hills Hotel's Cabana Cafe, which opened in 1940 and recently went under the knife (relaunched July 1) for a little nip/tuck, has had its Sunset Club sandwich on the menu since its first day of operation. The sandwich claims about a quarter of the business at the poolside cafe and comes layered with three pieces of La Brea Bakery white bread, turkey breast from Willie Bird in Sonoma, apple-wood smoked bacon from Hobbs' Smoked Meats in the Bay Area, local Bibb lettuce, tomatoes, avocado, and a sundried tomato aioli. It's served with either fries, salad or fresh fruit for $24. [Club Sandwich Power Hour]
