Finally! Patricia Tsai's mini bean-to-bar artisan chocolate factory, ChocoVivo, is ready to soft open on July 15 after it signed off Abbot Kinney in January. Shacking up right by The Corner Door on W. Washington Boulevard, Tsai wants patrons to experience pure chocolate "as the ancient people in Mesoamerica did thousands of years ago," and to start she will serve stone ground chocolate, drinking chocolate (with milk or water), pain au chocolat, plus a chocolate/cheese/bread board. Also, chocolate making and pairing classes to come. [EaterWire]
