The James Beard Foundation is coming to town October 11 and 12 with Taste America, a traveling food festival of sorts making stops in cities across the country. Friday night's festivities commence with a food truck tasting reception at Union Station, following by a seated dinner cooked by Rick Bayless, Nobu Matsuhisa, Michael Cimarusti, Jeremy Fox, and Karen Hatfield. Tickets cost $185. Then, on Saturday, Bayless will participate in a freebie cooking demo at Sur La Table (Farmers Market). [ELA]
