There are many reasons to attend this Saturday's Plate by Plate food tasting benefit, among them Allumette, Bestia, Patina, Paiche, and Starry Kitchen, to name a few. If you haven't yet had the opportunity to hit newbies Phorage or Scratch|Bar, and if you're curious as to chef Gavin Mills' charcuterie venture (he'll be selling at the forthcoming Spin the Bottle Wine Studio), only more reason to consider a $150 ticket to Plate by Plate. Hey, it's for charity. But yes, tickets are indeed a tad pricey, especially VIP at $250 (which includes early entry, VIP lounge, and cocktail competition), but another way to hit the fest is via two freebie VIP tickets we're giving away this week.
