Tonight is last call for restaurateur Adolfo Suaya's eight-month-old Gaucho Chicken Cafe, the casual rotisserie chicken joint that replaced the once Gaucho Grill. Moving forward, 7980 Sunset Blvd. will become Taco Love, a San Diego-style taqueria cheffed by David Modelo (Umami). So far at least one San Diego staple is confirmed: carne asada fries. Sort of like nachos but with fries instead of tortilla chips. Look for a launch this fall. [EaterWire]
