WEST LA— Good news for fans of specialty pretzel producer (hello red bean and cheese) and slow brewed drip coffee server Coffee Tomo on Sawtelle. Management is checking out spaces for a second cafe. Specific locale presently unknown. [EaterWire]

BEVERLY HILLS— Although Neiman Marcus will shutter its cafe The FreshMarket in tandem with a 3rd floor remodel, once the space is complete, a similar such restaurant will open in its place. [WWD via Racked]

MARINA DEL REY— Hilton Garden Inn Marina del Rey debuted today where Marina International Hotel previously existed on Admiralty Way. While that's not entirely breaking news, there is a new restaurant involved in the transformation, Marina Grill & Bar, now serving.
