Helms Bakery Will Open Here Next Year in Culver City

Sherry Yard and Sang Yoon's impending Helms Bakery hasn't quite broken ground yet, but nonetheless they're looking to fire ovens in the spring of 2014. Windows to the rather grand space inside the former baking complex in Culver City were recently open, and some might recall that the facility previously served as the warehouse for HD Buttercup's "sale" items. Note the expansive venue has no interior columns, meaning a wide open floor print for Yard's baking operations, as well as cafe room.

Until then, preview some of the bakery's desserts like toffee pudding and cookies at Father's Office next door.
