Sweet Rose Creamery Lands on Pico, Opening This Fall

New, 88 comments

On any given day, a long line snakes out of the tiny Sweet Rose Creamery, The Brentwood Country Mart's ice cream shop frequented for its high quality, small batch ice creams flavored with seasonal ingredients like Summer Corn and Fig Walnut with Goat Cheese Swirl. So it's really no surprise that owners Josh Loeb and Zoe Nathan of Rustic Canyon, Milo & Olive, and Huckleberry want to grow with a second scoopery. Signage is now up for Sweet Rose Creamery in Santa Monica, on Pico just east of Lincoln, in an area starved for anything decently edible.

While signage advertises Sweet Rose "Opening Soon," the plan is to scoop this fall. Also per signage, it appears as though this will be a slightly expanded version of Sweet Rose, with coffee and baked good on offer as well.

And finally, in other news, word on the street is that a Hollywood location could be in the works, too.
