It's hard to believe that pioneering craft beer emporium Blue Palms Brewhouse in Hollywood almost went out of business a year and a half ago. Back on its feet, Blue Palms recently fêted its 5th anniversary, and owner Brian Lenzo is looking at a bright future. He tells the LAT, "I'm working on building a brewery downtown right now. It's coming along. We're going to partner with somebody, do something new. We want to keep beer alive -- have a good, comfortable place where families can come and drink a beer." [LAT]
