Freebie Breakfast Bites at Haus; Domaine LA Sells Beer

New, 4 comments

K-TOWN— Haus Dessert Boutique might be one of the city's most interesting unearthed coffee gems. The cafe and restaurant is open late, serves Kona drip coffee at up to $25 a mug, and roasts its own beans onsite throughout the day. There's also a standout list of juice drinks like a strawberry latte (made with fresh strawberry juice) and a green grape slushy. Management added brunch service in June and tonight they're throwing a party from 6-10 p.m. and will give out comp brunch bites. Drop in to try pork belly Benedict, sausage bruschetta, and a ricotta cheese salad. [EaterWire]

HOLLYWOOD— Jill Bernheimer of Domaine LA is about to start selling beer at her well-curated boutique wine shop. Jimmy Han of Beer Belly is helping her organize the list with about 15 bottles that go on sale next week. On August 25 from 2-5 p.m., Han will be at the shop to talk about his selections and patrons can try the brews for $10 a head. [EaterWire]

SANTA MONICA— The Brentwood General Store, a gifty boutique selling candles and picture frames, but also fancy jarred goods and pricey olive oil, has decamped from The Brentwood Country Mart and landed on Montana at 14th. [Patch]
