The LA Times files a quick review from Bucato's opening night. The take seems mostly descriptive of the food: "Pasta dishes included tortellini with brown butter and sage, tagliatelle with traditional ragu, and strascinati: a dumpling-like pasta served with a braised pork shoulder ragu." Of course, there's a note on the cell phone policy: "But they didn't noticeably enforce the restaurant's no-cellphone policy, spelled out at the bottom of each menu: "Cell phones and photography expressly prohibited." Wait, how were the food photos in this article taken? [LAT]
