Nice! Lauded chef Josef Centeno (Bäco Mercat, Bar Amá) is following in the steps of Ludo Lefebvre and offering an early first taste of his third restaurant, Orsa & Winston, exclusive to MasterCard cardholders from September 24 to 28. Which means that his small plate Italian restaurant will likely open to the public sometime in October. The five course tasting menu is priced at $120 for two, with an optional $40 wine pairing. But here's the deal. MasterCard holders are urged to reserve seats right here, but those who try will note a message which states that all tables have been booked (this happened earlier today). The good news is that there's a glitch on the site and tables are still available. Reps are working to fix the issue, so keep trying.
As a recap, Centeno, king of the bäco and puffy taco, overtook the old Rocket Pizza Lounge next door to Bar Amá earlier this year. The site is still presently in plywood mode, but not for long.
