Adding yet another dining and nightlife element to The Sunset Strip, this is Robert Silverberg's (Isla Cantina) State Social House, formerly Red Rock and Isla Cantina, reworked into a spacious gastropub cheffed by Vernon Cardenas (IDG, Pink Taco). Dining takes place on level one, with a piano bar overhead on level two. Next door is The Backroom (the old Isla), a smoker's lounge that sells cigars. For State Social House, Cardenas is crafting a globally influenced small plate American pub menu, (duck fat fries, Niman Ranch pork belly tacos, giant pretzel), plus sandwiches, flatbreads, and a handful of larger format plates.

At each of the venue's FOUR bars one will find 20 beers on tap (from Coors to Allagash Curieux), plus wine, beer cocktails and other "specialty drinks." Silverberg will debut dinner service at State Social House on August 28, but full hours of operation (daily from 11:30 a.m. to 2 a.m.) begin September 2.
