Word on the street is that Bay Area based restaurant group Lark Creek — founded by Michael Dellar, Leslye Dellar, chef Bradley Ogden and Jody Ogden — is extending its namesake seasonal California eatery to The Malibu Pier, taking those first two buildings at The Pier's entrance.
Lark Creek Restaurant Group, founded in 1989 with The Lark Creek Inn, operates more than a dozen restaurants, the most notable of which is Michelin starred One Market in San Francisco. The company recently expanded with Lark Creek in Newport Beach and, while reps have yet to affirm the Los Angeles eatery, an employee in Newport confirms that management is planning a Malibu restaurant. Here's a look at Lark Creek's Newport menu. Note a wide assortment of California lunch and dinner fare, with the most expensive dish coming in at $38 for an "1855? New York strip steak. [EaterWire]
