Pearl's Shines With Glitz & Glamour Upon Sunset Strip

From the team behind Rock & Reilly's comes Pearl's Liquor Bar, an expansive three-level venue reminiscent of Sunset Strip's glamourous glory days. Once Duke's, now one may find lush, ornate environs with thick leather booths, plush seating spread across the garden patio, and luxurious marble countertops. The feel on the first floor has a bit of Zelda Fitzgerald mixed with a bohemian jeweler's hideaway. Serving a selection of small plates from lunch through dinner to late night, this 136 seat restaurant is destined become a scene, with bites like salmon with roast turnips, truffled mushroom flatbread, and a selection of oysters to go along a kale & quinoa salad for something on the lighter end.

Up front, a clubby hangout lounge where diners can sip on classically-inspired, like the Fitzgerald (after F. Scott), which contains Casamingos tequila, coconut water, passion fruit, jalapeno, lime and mint for something a bit sweet, spicy, and all refreshing. Or consider the Villa Nova, made with Pavan liqueur, gin, and cucumber. And finally, The Pearl, a blend of vodka (this is Hollywood), agave, and lime topped a strawberry ice sphere.

Upstairs there's a "secret garden" and open air patio, along with a mezzanine area that will give pretty swell views of the boulevard below. It all follows the LORE Group's recent acquisition of the decades old Mirabelle, which cements the group's place in this part of town. Pearl's operates from 11:30 a.m. to 2:00 a.m., with dinner served until 10 p.m. followed by a late night menu.
