Tucked away in the back of Westwood Wellness Center is newbie Nirvana Tea Lounge, which soft opened a couple months ago and officially debuted yesterday at 1001 Gayley Ave. In addition to a vast assortment of teas and "herbal tonic shots," the zen-like cafe is serving a bunch of breakfast and lunchy dishes made by healthy local meal delivery company PALETA. Also, for $10 -$12 one can partake in a 20-minute "tea ceremony" hosted by a "licensed natural medicine tea server." [EaterWire]
