After confirmation that former French Laundry chef de cuisine Timothy Hollingsworth was opening a restaurant in L.A. comes news of a pop-up event on September 15 that will showcase the chef's new taqueria concept at the Shade Hotel in Manhattan Beach.
The night features passed trays of tacos, fresh salads, house made salsas, and four specialty cocktails. Instead of a sit-down dinner, guests can mingle personally with chef Hollingsworth, all for $75 per person, plus tax and tip. Reserve on the hotel's website.
Hollingsworth has been consulting on Michael Zislis' properties all across the South Bay, such as Circa and The Strand House. The official location or name of this concept hasn't been determined.
