Reps for Cecconi's write in to say that chef Andrea Cavaliere has already received his first Italian white truffle shipment for fall. Cecconi's is one of the first restaurants in the country to start shaving the fancy fungi this season, and as of last night chef Cavaliere is serving pizza with white truffle for $80, risotto for two with pecorino cheese for $80, and hand-cut tagliolini for $60.
